Sandstone Steps
Sandstone comes from southern Michigan. It is sandy in color and texture. Over time, the color of the sandstone will change from a very sandy tan color to more of a grey color. The steps range in size from 5″ – 8″ thick and 2′ – 4′ in length and width.

Slate Scape Decorative Stone
The best way to describe this stone is “Crushed Grey Slate”. It is 2″ – 3″ in size, 1/4 to 1/2″ thick. This stone is actually a bi-product of slate mining out east. It does have a very small amount of white stone mixed in, maybe 3% or so, but its mostly all dark grey. Nice ground cover stone and good in walkways because of its flat surface. Another popular use for this stone is in dry river beds… This stone has a “blueish” hue to it that gives it the appearance of water. Very Popular Stone.
